Last week, the Assembly successfully embarked on a Week-long Sanitation Exercise as part of its commitment to promoting a cleaner, safer, and healthier environment for all residents.
The exercise involved extensive cleaning of streets, desilting of drains, removal of refuse, and general environmental sanitation. Assembly officials were on the ground to supervise activities, ensure effective coordination, and engage residents on the importance of proper waste management and environmental responsibility. This initiative forms part of the Assembly’s broader efforts to improve public health, prevent sanitation-related diseases, and promote a culture of cleanliness and civic responsibility. The Assembly commends all sanitation workers, residents, and stakeholders who contributed to the success of the exercise. Together, we can sustain a clean environment and build a healthier community for present and future generations
